Our Story
How it started
Bedwise.ie is a family-owned Irish furniture business dedicated to supplying exceptional quality mattresses & beds. Established in 2015 as a husband & wife team, Bedwise began specialising in the manufacture of divan beds and mattresses for contract customers such as hotels, hostels & property management companies. After 3 years successfully building a solid client base & good customer relation, we organically began to build a large network within the furniture industry not only in Cork but in Ireland too! Naturally friendships began to blossom and opportunities for further business began to appear, it was then our decision was made for us! It was time for us to make the pivot into the retail industry and offer our wonderful range of beds & mattresses in the new Bedwise showroom in Carrigaline, Cork.

The journey continues…
Since then, the company has gone from strength to strength showing continual growth. Trading through a difficult spell during Covid-19 we continued to acquire new contract customers and supply Cork & our local community with fantastic beds & mattresses from our new showroom. Naturally, as the business expanded so did the workforce. Early 2020, Paul óg, Diane & Paul’s son joined the family business. Having spent 10 years in retail management & specializing in menswear apparel design in Italy & Ireland, Paul óg’s immediate focus was to expand the company’s retail range and explore the market for new product offerings, while also sharing his own experience & ideas on how the company should navigate through the ever-changing landscape of brick & mortar retail as well as guiding the company into the world of e-commerce.
